"The world is connection and harmony."

During the Confluence, the balance of all things was disrupted. The world became unstable, ever-changing, precarious and fluctuating. The Muna, guardians of balance, patiently and diligently seek to restore the harmony that was lost. Like gardeners, they cultivate the world to make it less impermanent; like weavers, they link beings and things together in a great tapestry. They hope that through this restored bond, peace will return to everyone and to the universe as a whole, and that through this harmony, the Tumult will be calmed.

Many consider the Muna as guardians of nature who watch over the fragile balance between humanity and its environment, while others see them as hermits lost in contemplation of the world around them. It is certainly true that few individuals can boast of such a strong connection with the biomes they live in, whether they are dense forests or shorelines teeming with life. But if asked to describe themselves, the Muna would see themselves primarily as cultivators of harmony, both within ecosystems and within themselves.

Their understanding of the Skein, the network of energy that connects all things and beings, allows them to detect potential instabilities and subtle variations within this network. As spokespersons, ambassadors and guardians of the wild ways, they use diplomacy, wisdom and sometimes force to ensure that everyone can prosper while respecting others. The Rediscovery Endeavor is a chance for them to reinforce the balance of all things against the negating influence of the Tumult.
