"The world is altruism and innovation."
Through Alteration, humanity has managed to stabilize its immediate environment. However, this ability is still only available to an elite group. The Axiom strive to make this gift available to all and to share it with all humanity. In their view, the only way to achieve this is to rely on the scientific method and technology that can be easily made available to the whole population. Under its influence, society is experiencing a new industrial revolution in which reason and progress go hand in hand. And the Faction doesn't intend to stop there.
Artisans, engineers and creators, the Axiom are champions of science in a world that has been profoundly altered and where the laws of physics have been turned upside down. With a keen focus on innovation and progress, they are constantly creating new artifacts and tools with the aim of improving overall quality of life for the human population. To do this, they use their machines and a new energy resource called Kelon, which has properties they can use to create new technological marvels that they seek to make available to everyone.
The Tumult swept away the traditional convictions of the past. Faced with forces that had no rational explanation, humanity had initially shunned science, which was considered outdated in the new world that had emerged. But through experimentation and invention, the Axiom have started coming to grips with the universe's new laws of physics. They have now rekindled the deeply held conviction that technology and the scientific method will enable humanity to once more gain mastery over reality.
