It’s time for the annual ghost race! And we’ve hit the starting block with Roller Ghoster, from Schmidt’s Drei Magier line.
Ages: 5+ / Players: 2-4 / Play time: 15 – 30 minutes
In Roller Ghoster, players take on the role of ghosts racing to the top of a crumbling mansion. But beware! The house’s guests will do everything they can to slow you down, by rolling objects at you! Will you avoid getting hit as you vie to reach the top first?
In a style similar to Fireball Island, players twist the top of the tower and release marbles that fly down the mansion toward the ghost meeples making their way to the top, on one of two possible tracks. Will you choose the safe, but slower, inside track? Or the risky, but faster, outside track? Choose carefully, because if you get hit by a rolling object, you go back to the start. ☹
Fun for the whole family, kids especially will love Roller Ghoster! I mean, what kid wouldn’t love dodging projectiles?! ? But don’t worry, Dad, it’s a great (and safe) way to teach them risk management. ?
